Clinical Biochemistry (Clinical Chemistry) Department
This automated laboratory performs a wide range of biochemical tests and screening of profiles. Among the services provided are specialized testing for a wide range of specimen and lipids that are diagnostic for various metabolic diseases.
Electrophoresis (all types including Hemoglobin electrophoresis).
Endocrinology (Tumor Markers, Toxicology (DOA) Therapeutic Drug Monitoring (TDM)-Cyclosporine, Sirolimus, Tacrolimus and others.

Hematology and Hemostasis Department
It offers a wide range of tests including complete blood counts, differentials, ESR and morphological examination of peripheral blood for diagnosis of anemia and other benign as well as malignant hematological disorders. The department uses the SYSMEX hematology analyzers and STAGO- Compact Max Coagulation Analyzer.
Blood Bank & Transfusion Service
Blood Bank and Transfusion Service Unit
This unit offers all the clotting factor assays including an extensive menu of tests for hemostasis and thrombosis, bleeding profiles and screening tests, Factor analysis, coagulation markers and thrombotic risks.
Microbiology
Microbiology Department
Our microbiology department is well equipped to provide fundamental diagnostic testing in Bacteriology, Virology, Mycobacteriology, Mycology and Parasitology in addition to Molecular Biology. We use VITEK 2 Automated System for bacterial identification and antimicrobial susceptibility testing and BACTEC Automated System with dual function for blood and TB culture.

Histopathology Unit:
It’s a specialized unit for the diagnosis of all surgical biopsy specimens in a variety of diseases as inflammatory, benign and malignant disorders.
Cytopathology Unit:
This unit specializes in the diagnosis of gynecological and non –gynecological diseases based on cytological examination of fluid material and smears, Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology (FNAC), ascitic and pleural fluid, urine and sputum specimens.
