Dr. Aysun Yucel Gencoglu is a certified eye surgeon with vast experience. She has successfully completed over 2000 surgeries, specializing in procedures like Phacoemulsification (cataract surgery), Blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery), Trans-PRK (vision correction), Corneal Cross-Linking (for corneal disorders), and Pterygium removal (growth on the eye surface).
Her expertise extends to the management of dry eye, corneal infections, other cornea and ocular surface diseases, retinal diseases, and glaucoma.
She is a Fellow of the International Council of Ophthalmology (FICO) and a Fellow of the European Board of Ophthalmology (FEBO). She has been published and peer-reviewed in several publications and international ophthalmology journals and has presented several studies at international medical conferences.
